What is it?!
This is from Lush’ hair care range, and is marketed as a ‘Hair Moisturiser’. Lush say ‘Revives the hair and balances the scalp. A leave-in moisturiser for all dry or curly hair types. We’ve piled lots of rich ingredients in here to smooth over the hair cuticle and to give back condition to the hair, making it more elastic, easier to comb and less likely to break. Things like avocado butter, olive oil, coconut oil, cupuacu butter and candelilla wax. We then added oatmilk to soothe and cool the scalp and jojoba oil to feed the scalp with its light oil. We finish this off with essential oils like bay and orange flower absolute, for their effects on the scalp and for the tropical fragrance they bring.”

How to use it..
Basically in the same way that you’d use a hair Serum. Rub a small amount in your hands, and then smooth/scrunch into freshly washed hair.

My opinion…
Firstly, the smell of this is difficult to describe; its a bit overwhelming and very strong. It initially smells a bit herbal but them it smells of a ‘Hairdressers’ salon (if that makes sense?!). It certainly doesn’t smell of anything imparticular (like, vanilla for example.) As a wild stab in the dark id go with a bit avocado/olivey (maybe?!!!)
Secondly, i’ve found that its best used on dry hair but BE CAREFUL it can make your hair quite greasy if you use too much. Its a very thick cream but it goes a LONG way (iv got shoulder length hair, and about the size of a 5pence is enough for me)… also, avoid the roots of your hair, and keep it to the ends. If youv got split ends, its very good for making them look good!!!

Depending on your hair if its curly/very dry then i’d say go for it… but be careful!  It’s £10.50 for 100g, which is expensive but like i said it’ll laste ages!!!

Score (for my hair type… dryish) … 5/10 (nothing special, but helped when my hair looked a bit scraggy!!)
